Thanks for re-explaining the topic - it's very helpful for us who are starting out from scratch. (Also some people don't have some common sense to speed up or skip to the part they actually needed if they already have "beginner" knowledge).

Using super() function without any arguments in python 3 does ok.When it comes to python 2 u must always pass two argument as super(super-class-name, self). Tim never mentioned hope it helps out.

You have really great videos, but here, I think the example of Cats and Dogs is quite bad for inheritance. Cat is not a special case of dog, so inheritance here does not really make sense and I would even consider it an anti-pattern. It would be much better to use a common super class (like Animal) for both of them.
