Sharing in a Ratio | Using Bar Modelling to Share a Total in a Ratio | GCSE Maths

In this video we look at how to use bar modelling to share a total amount in a given ratio. We look at how we can draw bars for each part of our ratio which help to tell us what we need to divide our total amount by, and then the total amount for each bar gives us our final answer. We look at examples where there are both two and three parts to our ratio. There are then two sharing in a ratio questions for you to have a go at yourself at the end of the video along with their answers and workings.
