Earth Hour is a great Aussie idea gone global. Founded in Sydney and now celebrated in more than 160 countries, it’s a campaign designed to draw attention to tackling global warming and get people talking about what we can do to help.

This year’s Earth Hour will focus on celebrating and committing to protect our great Aussie food and farmers.

its symbolic for those who don't get it!
in a world full of inequality having power is what keeps people healthy, safe, entertained, makes products and profit, yet millions of people live without it, in poverty, cold, darkness and danger. The developed world sits in front of TV and computers indulging in the excesses of life, never giving it a second thought, meanwhile the planet is slowly but surely being stripped as demand for energy increases and resources become more scarce.
