Überzeugende live Aufführung dieses technisch anspruchsvollen Meisterwerks mit verschiedenen Töne des Cellos im veränderlichen Tempo. Echt bewundernswert!

Even a great cellist has an occasional off day. This was one of them. This comment isn't a quibble about interpretation. There are entire passages, especially in the first movement, where he is faking. He clearly hadn't completely learned the piece yet. Lots of wrong notes, missed notes, unsettled tempi throughout. A good lesson for all of us -- practice!
