Instead of a compass which is pretty pointless apart from filling the space why not put a useful guage in like oil pressure. I haven't had a car in years that shows oil pressure, that could be the difference between a fixable issue or a totaled engine and most car brands seem to consider that info is only for the mechanic lately. My current daily has a sensor but can only be seen when plugged into a shop computer.
Would also like to see your cars a bit more, maybe the odd track day.

Same W-12 as used in the VW Phaeton. Maintenance is a bear due to space limitations under the hood.
