Bats, Cats and Candy Halloween Quilt
( this is the name I gave my own quilt)

I used some left over halloween strips by Patrick Lose....

I used my Bernina 770QE, the 37D foot, and a 65/9 needle... I used Aurifil thread 50 weight cotton in both top and bobbin to piece this quilt top...

Happy Sewing and Quilting!

What a great quilt. I’ve made this quilt before but never in Halloween fabric. Love it!

Beth… the Patrick Lose line you’re using is Happy Halloween and I believe it’s from about 3 or 4 seasons ago. I actually just bought a bunch from a discount shop to make some fun Halloween things!

Beth…I’m not a quilter but this looks like fun! The ruler work is so fascinating.

I usually don’t make many quilts with black fabric. Well I love how it turned out, very striking. Thanks for the fun tutorial. Please be careful when cutting fabric towards you. Those rotary cutters are so sharp.

That’s a very striking quilt Beth, I also love piecing all the leftovers into the backing. I love the sound of orange thread on it.
We don’t do Halloween as much in the UK but I’m thinking that the design would look great in Christmas fabrics 🤔

I'm a beginner just starting my second quilt and I really want to try this. Do you have a written pattern? I'm sure I'll need to keep double checking so the video will be harder. Thank you for sharing this!

I also, would like to make a laptop quilt instead of a twin. How did you figure out how much material you needed? How many 2.5" strips? Thank you! Dottie
