I recently bought a Duesenberg Starplayer TV. It’s PHENOMENAL!!! I love that guitar! Sounds and plays like a dream!!! 🥰🥰🥰

As I watched, I thought “arm band like Megadeth wears!”which is what I do, but you thought of it. I have a Rivolta, the Korean made Fano design. I love it!

vielen dank for sharing your story, and advice. It’s amazing how “guitar of the moment” can take over youtube and raise the price to far-out levels. Eastman’s US-made D’Ambrosio and guitars from Powers Electric are getting a lot of interest now, but hopefully their prices will normalize a little later, like with Novo. tschuss

I bought a Serus T and then a Serus J. I ended up selling the T to get a TC, and I've had both of them for a while. My only gripe with the TC is that I am not a big fan of the Fralin Modern PAFs. No fault of the guitar...just not my favorite pickups. The Serus J, however, is absolutely perfect. Gonna be a lifer.

I have been hurt by the adjustment screws on Fender strat saddles...my right hand hates those saddles and I like to palm mute the bridge....335 is my comfort zone ..I don't use a pick much so my fingers are close to the strings when I strum or pluck.

10:22 Just curious, and sorry if I missed it but did you reach out to Novo? See if they could fix it for you? I’ve been drooling over Rhett’s for a while now and I always wonder if they’re as good as I want them to be.

I have a question about the irritation that affected your arm. I ordered a Miris J Custom order guitar with binding on the front end back. It is not checkerboard but the standard white binding. Which edge is it that rubs into your arm, the top or the back? And if this is the same size body as the Serus J I don't think it'll make any difference for me because it fits me perfectly. Any advice?

Hallo!

I had a Serus T and a Serus J andI sold them both. I am still looking for the perfect one. It wasn't about comfort, it was about not getting the neck size on one and not thrilled with the pick-ups in the other. The Serus J was super comfortable. But the pick-ups were so hot and with a guitar at this price point, I was not comfortable changing out pickups until I found what I was looking for. This is the big problem for me with Novo...there is zero chance to play several options before dropping $3-$5K on one. Unlike any of a dozen other guitar companies where you can play a bunch until you find the one. This is the chance we take with boutique I guess. One day I do hope to land the perfect Novo for me as the ones I had were amazing quality.

Sorry yours physically hurt you! The Serus J with no binding is super comfy.

They are very high quality guitars and I like you saw all these guys playing them but the body shape it hurts and isn’t comfortable.

I have had the same issues with teles with a double bound body like a tele custom. The binding is really sharp and rubs my forearm raw like that

Why didn’t you talk to Novo about addressing the issue?

You should make sure they know about this! (Seems like that’s is something a good repairman could fix) But I will say I’ve never found a good repairman! But anyway! I ordered a Solus H2 but I only got the binding on the neck and Pearl Block inlays! They wouldn’t let me have the chrome control panel and pickguard on top like yours!

i had the same experience when i switched from a stratocaster to a les paul. 50 minutes is enough to do some damage. you get used to it :P

Because it's a really good guitar, but not $4, 500-good (or more in some cases), and you can buy a lot of as-cool, or cooler gear with the proceeds of its sale. there, I summed it up in a sentence.
