Worst mod is throwing all the cash to mod 4x4 but never ever leave paved road.

That was Scotty Kilmer on the phone talking about adding a rear spoiler to his 94 Toyota Celica :D

Love the mention of cheap throw away goods that are bad for the environment. Cheers Ronny!

The most important mod you can do is lower the vehicle. You want to be no more than 4 inches off the ground. This creates a vacuum under the vehicle so you can climb straight up a cliff at super high speeds.

I love how these videos are all about promoting practicality and not looks.

I really appreciate your comments on taking care of the Bush, the track and the environment! That's why we're out there right?
Thanks Ronnie

I’ve been watching you on and off for a couple years now. Your spoken delivery has improved many times over, very professional and enjoyable to watch. Keep up the good videos.

I am glad to hear someone talk about the proper, wheel to tire size for off-roading. I have 17" wheels on my Toyota Tundra, 16" is too small (brake clearance and available options for 35, 37, 40" tires) and 18" is not my wheel size preference.

Big rims with low profile mud tires = mall crawlers.

I agree with Ronnie. Make sure every mod has a purpose and don't do anything just to make your truck look good. Most decent 4x4's require minimal mods to go off road, some, like the Defender, Jeep or Landcruiser 70 are extremely capable just as they are.

Worst accessory, is my apprentice, he wants to install himself in a Ranger and spend 80% of his income paying it off.

Great video. My contribution - make sure your winch is able to handle the weight of your Rig, keeping in mind the added resistance (weight) from mud/obstacles/mechanical issues.

Modding anything then never going off road.

U Aussie’s are smart. in America it’s a trend to get big rims small tires, I feel like I’m alone wanting plenty of rubber.

Y’all realize I’m half joking.

I run two rhino awnings because I can't be bothered to turn around in the wind.
And i can keep the kids on one side playing while the adults can relax on the other.

Lifted front suspension, stock height in the rear. “Carolina squat”. Looks like your truck is a dog taking a fierce dump 24/7.

"As legal as possible" That's like being only slightly pregnant!

Thank you Ronny Dahl. You kept it respectful, not clowning the city boy mods. I think you did mention the mall crawlers. Mods should be for the off-road experience. The only reason to go sky high would be mud bogging. You always have professional and educational info... I appreciate it. 👊
