Robert Randall "Bobby" Mackey (born March 25, 1948) is a traditional country music singer whose career has spanned 40 years. His musical style can be described by his loyalty to Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Buck Owens, Conway Twitty, and Johnny Paycheck, and is the foundation for his musical success.

Mackey opened Bobby Mackey's Music World in September 1978 in Wilder, KY along the Licking River, next to the same railroad track that he worked in his youth. Bobby Mackey's has been featured on network television shows such as Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, Most Terrifying Places in America, My Ghost Story, and A Haunting. USA Today quotes Zak Bagans of Ghost Adventures as saying Bobby Mackey's is "one of the 10 most haunted places in America."

Thank you for this video, fortunately I got to visit Mackey's in 2021 to see the building before they demolished it. One last look never hurts, and thank you for the stories behind the land. That's what makes it so riveting. Plus Bobby Mackey's music is good too lol.

Another thing when my mom was in her 20 she went there to have a couple drinks but she wasn't drunk (so remember that ) she was with her friends and all of a sudden she felt sick so she went to the bathroom which was upstairs then she got thrown back maybe 15 ft she was alright. When she tells the story of that it reminds me of the stort when the main family still lived there the wife was pregnant and she got pushed down the stairs by a demonic ghost.

Thank you so much for this. I have wanted to go there for so long now and it sucks I missed seeing it myself. I am and so is my daughter both very sensitive to paranormal so I had the chance to go there once and I didn't go! Ugh! I was worried because I can't control the things that get attached to me and it's happened 3 times where I had an attachment follow me and once where it took MONTHS to get it to leave. ANYHOW. Bobby plans on tearing the original building down but he plans on building a new bar on the site by 2026. He said he plans on keeping the well and the wall of faces in the basement intact. The new bar will be just as haunted as the old bar. It isn't the bar that is haunted it is the land it is built on. So yeah it is sad to see the old building go but once the new bar is built paranormal groups will still be able to do investigations.

I did my first ghost hunt there in 2017. I brought home a souvenir i didn't ask for. I thought the waiver in the beginning was for entertainment purposes.

I dont want to be rude but i live abotut 25 minutes from there and they are going to destroy it but its because the roof is collapsing so they are going to destroy it but rebuild another one

Carl lived upstairs in a apartment but he has since passed away they had some type of memorial made for him inside the building

Heading to Bobby’s in a few weeks have an overnight booked.
We did a 2hr tour last October and ever since been wanting to go back for a private visit. Can’t wait.

I went there a lot when I was still in my Jr and senior year. Hand stamp transfer in the haunted bathroom. Is no joke. In baththroom by myself shortly after opening for the evening. At first two other guys finishing up. Immediately after they left I felt a presence that moved the trash can. Then it pushed me. I'm part native American and in tune more than most people. Was one of the most scary things I've ever experienced. Never in the bathroom alone afterwards. Am 50 now. Never forget it. Still got smashed and had a great time riding the bull and dancing with older women and fat chicks. Just for fun. We're pool tables a big bar. Saw Carl several times. He was creepy and had demons consuming him. I saw his face contort once as he walked past me and went downstairs
