We do have to take into account that Ahsoka is balanced in the force and is also the iteration of the sister, the light side, so she may fall into the world between worlds, or just be incapable of death

Sidious is so powerful I think even caught off guard that he would destroy both Ahsoka and Maul, remember he took on maul and Savage in clone wars no problem

Faloni did say Sideous would fail...Yeah Palpatine is more powerful but Maul and Ahsoka could do somthing eles to him there are other ways...they could tumble his Empire in its early infancy...

No offense but plagueis taught Palpatine so he also knew every form also and plagueis was technically still alive so he could kill Palpatine and take power for himself

Maul could use the force to hurl his double Sabre in to sidious effectively cutting him in half.
