Besides the bright reds which overpower the subtlety of color in the rest of the picture, I'm bothered by the tangents. Notice how the sword tip touches the bottom of the column while part of her back touches the edge of the gate. This makes the figure appear hemmed in, causes confusion as to where the figure is standing in space and kills the illusion of depth.

I find the light on her left thigh drawing attention from the sword, as well as the lightness of the gray column. The bottom of it should have been darker. The plaque on top of the column Cadogan, It draws too much attention.
