Omg, I remember my mom buying the LP for me and the guy at store was like "you know it's kinda hard rock" and my mom was like "yeah, so what?" And then she run into Nuno in Boston and she had the guts to ask for an autograph for me and my brother 😂 She was the best. I miss her so much

Extreme were the first band I ever obsessed over. I was 11. I still love them aged 45. UK resident.

I was 13 yrs old when this song came out and every girl in my high school loved it. I dont think Nuno and Gary realised that it will be such a hit even for young people.

I love Nuno!! Saw them do this song in 1990 in Springfield, MO and have been in love ever since!!! They opened for Winger. Extreme's performance has always stayed with me. One of the best I've ever seen!! Especially when they did this song!! Hooked for life!

I dont think nuno would realise that this song still hit to teenager in this era. Man when i played this song in guitar my friends always ask what is this song and they love it. Man can't imagine how can this song released in 90 and still sounding like it was released this day. Such a masterpiece

At the end of this interview, the closed captioning typed that Nuno said "he (Gary) had a black guy. One shoe off." Nuno actually said: "he had a black eye." Gary would put black eye makeup around one eye as a tribute to the dog on the old "Little Rascals" TV show. Nuno and Gary loved that show. That's where "He-Man Woman-Hater" came from. It was the name of the Little Rascals' clubhouse.

Awesome... love Nuno... loved Extreme.

Living in RI these guys were coming up 40 miles north of us...
I could see them all the time.

I had buddies who’s band opened for them.
A kid I used to jam with ... his girlfriend was friends with the drummers girl.

It was amazing to watch them come up and finally break.

Good stuff.🎸💪👍🥃

I was one of those who really loved the song when it first came out and I'm glad it made it all the way to the top of the Billboard which was a big deal back then.

Nuno just took me back to my first Extreme show, Paramount Theater in Springfield MA 1991. Pornograffitti had been blowing my mind since I'd bought it on release day. A friend scammed our way to the front row and my life changed. Gary was out of his mind running around (while singing pitch perfect) and watching Nuno do Flight of the Wounded Bumblebee from 5 or 6 feet away was beyond amazing. And yes, More Than Words was a great moment in the show. I loved shred guitar but still understood the genius of balancing it with gorgeous melodies over a simple acoustic riff. I know this isn't the place for a concert review but what an unforgettable show. (Danger Danger opened and i remember they were a ripping good live band. Andy Timmons was a nice guy, I met him outside earlier that day and we chatted about guitars for awhile. His solo albums are stellar;)

Bought Extreme's 1st album because of Bill and Ted. Who knew I'd end up buying every one of their albums and still listening all these years. III Sides album's the best, though.

In the mid 80s, Extreme had a local hit video, Mutha Don't Wanna Go To School Today, on a UHF channel in Boston called V66. That's how I was introduced to Extreme.

What a story teller :) :) I can picture Baz yelling "Duuude !!" I bought Porno after reading a simple interview in Hard Rock Magazine when the band was totally unknown in France. The description made by the journalist and Gary's replies were so intense... 1st and last time I did buy a record without hearing a single note of a band.
