So the moral of the story is yet again, attributes don't matter, badges do.
I think the biggest takeaway from this test is to never put your attributes higher than your badge requirements, unless it unlocks good animations.
It's been like this for the past years and good to know this hasn't changed in 2k25.

What is different between this test and the one 2k tutes did? Cause they showed that 85 rating had a big increase in the make %

I have a build with a 60 3pt and a 94 mid for all the shooting badges. On this build I shoot about 50% for 3. I really don't even notice my 3 is low. Badges seem to play a much bigger role in shooting than your ratings.

The badges have always been the biggest difference in 2k so I will like to see a test with badges that would be unlocked at each rating compared to the other rating with the badges that that rating would have unlocked to really see if it's worth the higher attributes for the badges

Badges are always the biggest difference in shooting, if it was truly based on attributes they wouldn’t even make badges a thing because the attributes would be enough. It’s why you can have a high mid range get all the badges on Gold/Hof and then have a 75 3ball and shoot just as well from 3 as someone with a 94 3ball and all the same badges

I sincerely appreciate y’all. Big fan. But sometimes the methodology and conclusion recommendation flaws make me cringe a bit. Hopefully people are reading what they want and not spending their money solely based on this.

So a build with a 94 and a 74 3pt will only see a 5% increase in their peak make percentage? Why is anyone dumping lots of stats into 3?

You guys should have done the test with all the badges available at that rating because without the badges this test is absolutely pointless

It would be good to see the mid range mixed in as well. For instance, you can run a 92 three point with a combination of a higher midrange to get the legendary badges, and therefore, the results may be skewed.

65 three and rhythm shooting is lowkey insane. ive been able to hit stepback threes and have even greened an and 1 three, also had a game in rec where I shot 5/5 from three

Are you guys able to fix the premium custom shooter tool. The ratings on their to the corresponding attributes on the game are one point off. Searching for a 87 shooting as example you need to filter for 86 instead as they don’t match game ratings.
