Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) was one of the most prominent composers of classical music. He composed numerous symphonies, operas, and chamber music that are considered masterpieces of Western classical music. However, Mozart also had a unique source of inspiration in the guise of a feathered friend. This is the story of Mozart and his pet European starling.
