I remember listening to this song in the car on my family vacation to California with my mom and my dad when I was little. Driving down the beaches and the city lights. Things were so simple. Years later my dad and I still listened to this song. We had a really conflicted relationship but we both loved each other. Times I didn’t know how he felt. But after he passed suddenly three weeks ago, coming back and listening to this breaks my heart. But it reminds me of how much he really did love me. And i love him forever.

On my birthday in 2013 and by sheer fluke I got to meet Kaskade at the club he was playing in. I told him I had all of his vinyl releases and that led us to having a half hour chat before his set started. I can say he’s a down to earth guy and a non alcoholic OJ is how he likes to roll. 😂
