This knife has such awesome modification potential. It's what we started with for Erica's custom Rex 45 Native. I went crazier with my personal Rex Native, and it's less than 0.004" BTE. It's very close to a zero grind with a microbevel, and it's the sliciest thing I own. It's so satisfying to use.

All that said, Fletcher, if you want a regrind on yours, I'll do it for you for free, in thanks for all the great content you provide. Just let me know. 🇺🇲👍

Picked up one when they first came out been carrying it ever since very nice little EDC blade. Got the m4 mint chocolate chip colored one also from blade hq. Been looking at other blades but I'm holding off till another native 5 drops really digging it.

I received mine on Tuesday and dyed it a teal blue similar to the k390 FRN.

Good idea on the desiccant pack. In reference to the knife, I have a hard time believing that it is a pure REX 45. Real REX 45 cannot be polished to that extent. It’s a rougher steel look at Bradford’s knives. They’re certified. I’ve never trusted Spyderco.

Never tried a native 5, but with a regrind that would be a perfect little edc for sure.

Noice knaf! REX45 is an incredible steel. I hope to someday own a Shaman and/or PM2 in that steel.
