I love this game! I just got it hours ago and haven't stopped playing this. The only downside is that I can't change it to the left side. I'm a lefty so it's hard for me to use the wiimote on my right hand. Other than that, I could play this game for hours straight! Haha

Two of the things you pointed out are true, the girl and the man don't appear in the final product of the game, the trailer was showing a ''beta'' Just Dance 2.
Another way to prove this is by looking at the words ''perfect''. ''good'' and the others in Soul Bossa Nova and the male avatar from A-Punk changed colors, so did the ''Walk Like An Egyptian'' one.
So, bottom line: it's not a glitch in your game, it's a beta unfinished version.
