As I will never need to do any off-roading ever I ended up getting a Renegade Limited a couple days ago and it is easily the best vehicle I have ever driven/been in.

I looked at Jeep Renegade, and the Cherokee V6 about a month ago. Like the reviewer mentioned, not a fun drive using Fiat V4 engine. The V6 Cherokee obviously drove much better, but ultimately I settled on the Hyundai Sante Fe Sport. I didn't trust Jeep's 3 year 36000 miles warranty after researching numerous transmission problems starting at 20000 miles.

This Jeep looks like a modern version of the AMC Eagle or AMC Sport Wagon.
That's not by chance because Chrysler/Dodge bought the rights for Jeep from AMC when they went Bankrupt.

A 1 minute review makes me wonder why they even bothered to get the jeep from the press fleet because it's a waist of time. Some other journalist could've used it instead and made it longer and worth it.

I just can't get over the fact that it's an overpriced 500L with a few pieces of Jeep technology. I'd rather buy the Subaru Crosstrek which has the same ground clearance, costs $5, 000 less for the premium model and gets 5 miles to the gallon better fuel economy on both the highway and in the city. I like the car but it just seems out of its price range.
