My niece can work a computer but she still likes to go outside. She'll want to go on the computer or watch tv but she still gets those urges to waste some energy.

So, a child psychologist is making a big deal about techie kids in a way that will scare parents into sending kids to a child psychologist? Hm. That doesn't seem fishy at all.
