The step drawr seem like extra money and work for a temporary issue. Your kid will grow out of needing one after a few years and they don't use makeup that young anyway. Save the cash and buy a $10 step stool to brush their teeth and comb their hair.

We have a big walk in bathroom. The whole thing is tiled and heated. So the vanity is in the walk in closet. When you think about it. You don't need a sink to do makeup or get ready for the day. You do all your cleaning in the bathroom. And you do all your readying in the closet.
Having a room basically dedicated to dolling herself up makes my wife very happy. She can shut herself in away from the kids. Away from my smelly ass taking a shit. All just to her.
