King Song KS14D vs. Inmotion V8 Comparison Review

Here on TheTopher, I'm known for putting a camera on my face and driving cars. Whether it's about any of my personal cars or reviews on weekly test vehicles, the goal is to give you an idea of what a certain car is like to drive or live with. From your vid I wont be doing much off roading. I'm leading towards the king song but not sure if I should go with the king song 14 d or 14s? The 14s about 400 bucks more with better distance and faster acceleration. Would it still handle as well as the 14 d in this vid?

You say you would buy one 4:12. My question is: have you bought one?

Kind of an obvious comparison, yes? The smaller 14" wheel gives a torque advantage on acceleration and braking over a larger 16". The 16" is going to take the road better, and the 14" is going to be more nimble. So it depends on your usage requirements. V8 vs KS16S would be more interesting.

Why not compare 'like' items - the King Song 16S with the 16" Inmotion? Most of the differences you cite pertain to differences due to wheel diameter. Then again the 16S is more powerful than the V8. I haven't had the opportunity to compare the two, but +1 for the King Song.

I am choosing between ks 14d and KS 16s. KS 14d is a sweet ride, but I'd like more range. Hope the 16s is as sweet and that the nimble quality isn't lost in going to a 16inch wheel.

now that the price of the v8 has decreased (with coupon code) to right around the price of the ks14d, do you still think the ks14d is a better value? I value comfort and ride quality more than speed and see myself on sidewalks a decent chunk of time...also value reliability and ease of maintenance

The V8 hurt my feet after 15 to 20 minutes just killed the sole of my foot .
