I bought the LG combo unit and am really happy with its drying capabilities. I bought it mostly because it's a space saver, energy saver, and the sidekick washer.

I have a Miele heat pump dryer and I'm really super impressed. I also have a speed queen full-size dryer.
Now is the speed queen faster? absolutely.
But I prefer to put my colored clothes in the Miele because they're treated better with the heat pump dryer. It does not get as burning hot as the speed queen, but the clothes do come out, very warm to the touch.

I think this’ll be great! LG already has experience with heatpump dryers, but only in compact ones. These full size ones have been available in Korea for a while now but glad to see them in the us also!

When heat pump dryers will become more popular, you'll probably see more of these cleaning systems. Bosch introduced it (to my knowledge) some 10 years ago. Today brands such as Whirlpool, LG and Asko offer self-cleaning heat pumps on their dryers - with varying degrees of success.

I just still can't believe this technology exists now. Like we've had air conditioners for a while but never would have thought of putting one in a dryer.

Thats a 240 outlet... 220 is euro standard (now 230) with 1 leg, equivalent to your 120. Our equivalent to US 240 is the 400v 3 phase outlet. Only stoves use that now.
