Love Jimmy and whilst celebrating the INEOS win, was sad hearing his retirement. Utter legend 👊

You are hands down the best analyst of the America’s cup on this planet. No offense to others but your channel is the best period. Keep up great work!

Wow. Who would have thought this would be the result. The Italians just seemed the power house from the get go to be the ones challenging the Kiwi's. But it is never over until it is over. The British yacht certainly found something that was lacking at the right time. Despite Luna Rossa throwing a couple of races due to unfortunate boat issues it seemed Ineos was on a roll at the end. Towards the end they were winning the starts & getting in the better positions forcing Luna Rossa to tack away.

As a Kiwi I have a love hate affair with Jimmy Spital. But he is a true sportsman, very humble & gracious in winning or losing. Sorry to see him go if this is his last America's Cup as a captain. Hats off to The British team. You peaked at the right time & congrats. Can this continue up against the Kiwi's? See you on the water.... John from New Zealand.

Congratulations to the English team from an Italian LRPP fan. They raced masterfully, never making any mistakes, and once again winning the start. I'm very sorry for LRPP, but Britannia really deserved the win. I will be rooting for the English, hoping to bring the cup back to Europe, and perhaps challenge them on the Isle of White, with the new Italian hopes...!!!!

As a Kiwi it's been a breath of fresh air to see good clean racing and no legal wrangling as in the last cup cycles. GB did all their talking on the race track and as it turns out we will have 2 Olympic Gold medalist go up against another pair of Olympic Gold medalist, The best of the best go head to head, how lucky are we??

I am a kiwi so no loyalties here but i had to laugh early on in the pre competition
when i read comments saying INEOS were going to be wooden spooners
i liked their innovative design and always thought they had the potential to be very competitive.

I thought it very interesting on Wednesday when they went 6-4 up, a few minuets after the finish the Italians were already taking the main down, but the first thing the brits did was ask if the shore team wanted to do a software update! To me this showed me where there heads were!

You overlooked the Comms improvement they've made through the match. Early on IB were seconds slow to respond to LR, mainly due to "discussion" between Ben & Dylan. Seems like Dylan gained more authority on decisions, and so the boat got nippier.

Also, in post race comments you hear Dylan call out the software team, it makes me wonder how much of their improvement arc came from software updates that improved manuvering and sailing modes? The boat is certainly a lot more manuverable and controllable than it was early in the campaign.

Really thought during the early rounds of the final that Luna Rossa was the strongest and luckiest team, but INEOS turned it around. Bravi.

Many thanks for your break down of the races thus far, skipper! Your coverage and insights are much appreciated. I know that I'm repeating myself here, but as a Cup enthusiast since 1964 (Yes...I'm bloody OLD!), I have noticed one factor that seems to be prescient in every America's cup regatta. Inevitably, the fastest boat wins. I think that the brits arrived with a fast boat, but simulations training can only take you so far as opposed to the heat of battle in unpredictable conditions. At the outset of the LV cup finals I honestly believed that the series was a toss up, but as they progressed I think the Brits began sailing BRITTANIA stronger and more effectively using the design of the boat as a measure of gaining VMG performance. Hats off to LUNA ROSSA, who arrived with a truly beautiful vessel and an amazing team, but in the end it came down to Beauty and the Beast.
The Beast won. My bias aside, I really hope the brits can prevail in the Cup against a VERY strong TEAM NEW ZEALAND. I think it would be amazing to see the auld mug return to its birthplace in my lifetime, and honestly feel it would generate a great deal of growth and interest in the America's cup moving forward.

Yes Mozzy! I am so happy for you, England and the Ineos Brittania crew. I reckon they will give the Kiwis a run for their money. The direction they went with is paying off. It's going to be an epic final! 👍😁💪🇦🇺

What an amazing Louis Vuitton cup final - and great for the spectators for sure! Congratulations to INEOS on a well deserved win! I'm a Kiwi but I still have no idea on what the outcome of INEOS versus Team NZ will be at this stage but I'm expecting it will be very competitive racing. I feel that with recent performances INEOS may well have the upper hand on starts but then I have seen Team NZ pull off great starts under pressure also. As far as boat speed goes, a lot depends on the success of ongoing development. Certainly looking forward to Americas Cup racing!
