The most suprising thing about Elma is the fact that card never got an errata, when it's one of the rare card where it would be tottaly deserved. Ruin Chaos Emperor Dragon or Crush Card Virus ? Totally fine. Errata Elma when the only use is for FTK ? Nan, let's keep this card banned twenty more years

Oh, you mean legaly, not mechanically.
I always thought it was a flavorfail that you had to have the weapon on the field to summon the guardian, meaning you can never equip them with their own weapon, well ya unless you have multiples, but you get what I mean.

The ENTIRE guardian archetype needs to be remade. They are so bad and the only card that was ever relevant besides Butterfly Dagger was Eatos.

I had an idea for a similar card in my card game, an Equip card named Tears of Despair. Equip it to an enemy beast (basically monsters) and they lose 20HP each turn, even if they're inactive (like Benched in Pokémon TCG). When its equipped Beast dies, the Tears goes back to its owners hand, allowing them to equip it to something else, sapping the enemies teams strength until they're unable to fight any longer.

Easy way to beat it though. It only returns to hand if the equipped Beast dies. If you counter the card before it's equipped with a Counterspell trap, or get rid of it with a Dispel power, it goes to the discard instead of back to hand since it wasn't on a Beast that died.

They should just make it a once per turn effect and you can’t play it in the same turn you get it back so they can make it legal

Legally you can summon this card, you would just have to be playing in a traditional format game setting.

When i was in middle high i used an instant win strat using dagger elma and woodland spite. Woodland sprite effect allowed him to destroy an equipped card and inflict 300 life points. The card did not have a once per turn rule so when my friends saw the combo in the first turn they rage quitted

Neo bubbleman also is unable to be summoned, since you need Metamorphosis which is also banned

You can legally Special Summon Guardian Elma using T.G. Glaive Blaster. Lullaby of Obedience also works if your opponent has her in their deck.

From what I can see, Elma can be Summoned, if your opponent activates Lullaby of Obedience.
