I remember when my sister was having her first baby. It was the first grandkid for both sets of grandparents. We ALL (10 family members) went to the hospital after the baby was born. I visited 8 of my 9 nieces and nephews in the hospital. Now that I’m pregnant, I’m realizing how hard that must have been on mom and baby when we went to visit during that time. So now I’m making it a rule where we don’t have any visitors in the hospital when our baby is born (which shouldn’t be hard because of Covid) and possibly even for the first week or so at our house. I know my husband’s side of the family will be more pushy about it, but I’m going to stick my grounds.
