You know, the worst part is that the Labyrinth player RNG sniped the wrong card out of the Venusylph player's hand anyway. Exchange of the Spirit wants to be in the GY because it powers up every single other Ishizu card. So if Exile somehow didn't work or go through, they'd have a harder time dealing with the Ishizu support anyway since I'm pretty sure Labyrinth isn't the best at sniping cards out of the GY.

Sorry if it seems a silly question but since I'm thinking about starting to play Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duels I have to ask since I lack knowledge. Is Labrynth a bad deck? A friend told me it was decent for a beginner but I watched a few clips from this channel and Labyrinth decks are catching L back to back. I would be open to suggestions for other good starting decks to use with the first jewels before I end up using it on a potentially bad deck.

Mmmm. That misplay. Could have summoned Lady, compulsed the maid, set Big, summoned the maid to add Clock. Big for Lovely and return the maid to trigger lovely. That's 2 possible pops, a hand rip, and a starter for next turn or another set with the returned chandelier with the maid along with an attack position Lady that can't be destroyed...
