Tropical islands in Thailand - what is it really like to ‘live’ in Koh Phangan?

This part of Thailand has a lot of expats living here. We wanted to see what living on a Thai island would really be like, so we rent our own little house and a scooter. Only half way through our time here and we are absolutely loving it! It’s so relaxed here, everyone is really friendly and there’s an abundance of delicious and cheap fruit everywhere 😁

Verdict: If you’re able to make a stable income online we would definitely recommend giving this a go!

We said goodbye to our jobs, sold all our belongings, and left Australia on a one-way ticket to Shanghai with just each other and our backpacks! We plan to travel the world for a year, see as much as possible, meet as many people as we can, and most importantly MAKE OUR MONEY LAST!

When we left Australia we decided to make travel vlogs to share our journey with our friends and family back home. We also love watching other travel vloggers on YouTube, in particular Kara and Nate, The Endless Adventure, Way Away, and Flying The Nest.

We loved the fruit in Asia. It looks so peaceful there not crowds and stall holders trying to sell you something.
