Stumbled on your video. Thank you for the clear explanation regarding the name, VT Prusik. Not sure what the sheath of your cheap version is made with, but important to note that traveling very far using fiber on fiber can create enough friction to melt through the prusik, with catastrophic results. That is the primary reason we chose to use the aramid sheath for the VT Prusik.
