I love how the focus is winning championships. He says it multiple times… some guys are scared to put that weight on their shoulders but he’s ready for the challenge. As a fan, that’s all I can ask for. Your best shot.

I’m an Aggie, but man what an honor, and what a time in college football history. I want Alabama to remain a competing team for the championship because it just feels right. I’m only 23 so Nick Saban was always a coach I hated, and loved at the same time, but ALWAYS respected. Kalen deboer is a great coach and I wish him and Alabama the best. Roll tide AND Gigem Aggies!

I'm an Oregon fan so I'm torn on this. Glad he's gone from the Huskies because Deboer has beat us 3 times in a row by 3 points. But I see Oregon facing Bama in the playoffs so he's not completely gone lol. Good hire he's a great coach. Respect.

As a Michigan fan I congratulate Alabama on a great decision hiring this coach. He is a classy guy and I just like the way he carries himself. If Harbaugh was leaving I actually hoped Michigan would hire him. Nothing but respect.

Congratulations to Alabama! I am an Ohio State Buckeyes fan for life. I am proud of the traditions and legacies our previous head coaches have done for the players and the football programs. We have been one of the most respected and consistent teams in the country because of them in large part. I am glad to see Alabama has a very good new head coach taking over a great football coach in history. I think they are both great persons who care deeply for their families and their teams. They are absolutely winners in life. I also appreciate the fact that the new coach allows the previous head coach full access to the program in every aspect and showed his willingness to learn from his predecessor. That’s a very wise thing to do. In business, I have had to deal with key positions transition processes many times. I found it to be absolutely beneficial to allow for this kind of smooth process that almost always lead to successful results! I wish nothing but the best for Kalen DeBoer and his family. I also hope that Nick Saban and his wife Terry would enjoy their twilight years with happiness and fulfillment. God bless you! Lastly, I want to see the football programs at both Ohio State and Alabama be successful and honorable as they have been over through all the years in the past.
