Love the textures on the trees Chris! These are difficult times so do what you need to do for income.

Loved the black & white and textured photos. So glad to hear during these difficult times you are both ok & staying busy.

Glad you guys are doing well and staying out of trouble. I can relate to the burnout. My day job has been really busy. Haven’t really had the strong motivation to get out

Really love Chris’s tree abstracts at 8:34

Been a big fan for a few years now! Grew up in Arizona and always enjoyed seeing your photos! Burn out is a pain and there is no need to feel like you own us anything! We will watch whatever video you put out, whenever that may be!

I loved all of those images Mike and Chris. You guys are so encouraging and supportive of everyone else. There is nothing wrong with speaking from the heart and being true to yourselves. Creativity can be in short supply and you just can't force it. Much love to you both.

Mike, I hope that this year better for all of us. It is great to hear that you guys have some income from photography and Chris's video editing. It's also great to see both of you out in the field again. Nice abstract, Mike. Chris, I love the textures in the tree bark photographs.

Love the abstracts, both water and trees, very cool! Miss your regular postings but we all know life happens and opportunities don't always come around, get it while you can, just don't lose your passion.

The views of Cathedral Rock along the creek are always thrilling to see! I can understand that you haven't been able to get out as much. I know other things in life can come up. The good news is that we always look forward to when a new adventure does come up. I'm glad that all is well!

This is a good and honest video that you don't see every day. All those landscape YouTubers who make it seem like they are leaving the dream gets tiring after a while. they all look and sound the same from A-Z tbh. its a no secret only a tiny % in the world that make a living from full-time landscape photography. have a good steady income from a job you enjoy then do photography as a passion if you happen to make extra money from it even better, but to rely on it is not a smart decision. you will face life-long struggle and depression it is what it is. Sooner you realize better off you will be.

Glad you checked in and with such beautiful shots too. Sedona is on my bucket list for this coming year. And Chris, I finished my tree bark collage that was inspired by your rock series a while back. You can imagine the smile on my face when your tree bark images came up!! Endless possibilities for nature collages!

I was just thinking this morning that I hadn't seen anything from you lately, so I'm glad that you posted something to keep in touch.

Good to watch another vid from you both. I'd guess a slow down is the natural progression of a landscape photographer. In the beginning we are excited to get out and push the shutter, regardless of what we capture, but years later, composition snobbery settles in. You have to pursue what's best for your family...first and foremost. Awesome effort getting higher paid commercial projects and not having to continually pump out views for YouTube. Hopefully your landscape work and vids are merely a way to advertise your portfolio. I'm glad to see and hear about genuine YT folks succeed beyond the machine. Keep on keeping on!

3:39 like what your were saying people are asking me why am I not send them there photos! Why are you not posting anything! Somedays I’ll edit photos just can get it quite right what I want! It’s always hard to shoot same spot over and over again! When it’s a new place or travel it’s dope capture something new!

Awesome you two...super cool photos...Mike when you were looking at that river my first thought was B&W and lo and behold your photos were B&W...im starting to love B&W photos more and more..Chris your photos of the different textures..i have to guess different trees were off the charts...that looks soo cool side by side...If somebody just saw the pic and didn't know what you were taking photos of they would never know that it was different types of bark...Keep up the great work u two...

Chris - the lighter of the 4 images was my favorite. I think they all worked well together. Maybe remove one of the 2 similar shots to make a set of 3?
Thanks for the update guys! Glad you’re doing well!

Great to see you guys again! Totally understand about being busy. With my home remodel, the regular job, family stuff, then photography and the YT channel.... sometimes there just isn't enough time and pushing for it takes the fun (followed quickly by creativity) out of it. I loved the images.
