In music what you are doing is setting the quarter note and then moving to 8th notes for the half beat 1-2-3-4AND, for the long rhythm you are syncopating where the 8th note comes 1-2-3(+4)AND

As a beginner in boxing this is a super informative video about sth I kinda tried using, but didn't have it explained in such cohesive and plain way anywhere else. In fact I've already seen a couple of your videos and when it comes to yt boxing tutorials this is really some unique stuff. You totally deserve more subs

Ive been doing muay thai the last few months, and ive always tried to implement rythm into our light sparring sessions. Im surprised how successful Ive been with it. I try to visualize a metronome marking my opponents rythm, and I try to strike on the "valleys" of the beat, and it catchs most people off guard. Im still very new at it, and it feels like i need to focus alot to do it, and maybe end up forgetting my defensive responsability and stuff. Im hoping that with practice, itll become second nature to read and break the rythm, without too much thinking, and without tunnel visioning or needing to neglect my defense for it. Great video!

As usual, beautifully thought out. I'm a Channel Groupie now...a mindless lived on cheese corn and diet soda during the Bambara Boxing Tour"

Is there a reason you have your fingers out like that when you're demoing the jabs? I assume it's to lower the chance of an accident somehow?
