The GBI is investigating after a Georgia State Patrol trooper shot a 17-year-old girl in a chase in Toombs County Sunday. According to a news release, it all started when Lyons Police were responding to a bank alarm call.

Why? Why was it necessary to shoot at a person, (let alone a teenage girl)who is running away??!!!
The only time officers are to use deadly force is in fear for the safety of their own life, or that of another....
How was she a threat RUNNING AWAY!!!???
