The first time i saw Jaiyashankar didn't have any answer. Even struggling where to begin and where to proceed.

Sir Jaishankar always replies with direct answers, but listening to this made it clear that the government has no proper answers about how the situation can be calmed down.

Playing politics at Manipur and manipuri are suffering like hell

Sir Jaishankar's answers clearly shows that the central government does not care about Manipur or any other Northeast states in India except Assam. Unlike Jaishankar, he has no answer for Manipur, so just talking to himself.

Instead of beating around the bush he should've just said:: GOI does not care as long as BJP is in power in Manipur and the CM is co-operating (like the HM said). Lets just wait and watch.

He admits that there was clear negligence towards north east and it's inclusiveness as a whole across the history of mainstream Indian policies. He did address how the manipur case has both a cultural and physical ambiguity to it which turns in rather baffling of a conflict to clear up. It also has the foreign aspect to it as both Myanmar and Bangladeshi immigrants play a major role in the crisis which surely makes it the most difficult situation to deal with for the government as a whole to which they clearly don't have a direct feasible plan to sort out hence they've decided to take the long, slow and cautious approach that's certainly not so productive atm. Hope they're coming up with a better plan to sort it out, it's a long standing issue that transcends governments.

As Manipur is considered as a part of India geographically, I hope Indian government treat us like that

GOI should stop the divide and rule policy that British also used to rule Manipur. Meitei, the indigenous people deserves its ST status considering how small the popluation is.
