Dad-to-Be Faints in Delivery Room

Corianne Johnson was just about to give birth to her daughter when her husband Cody fainted. Apparently seeing the epidural was too much for the father to be. Cody told Inside Edition, “To my credit, they said it was a graceful fall. I kind of collapsed down very gently.” The nurses gave Cody crackers and juice, and helped him to a couch. Corianne said, “He's been a great dad” since their daughter Navy was born, “So I'm really grateful.”

As a (now retired) hospital maternity nurse, I’ve seen a few dad’s pass-out and some of them were these big tough-looking US Maines.

32 years ago my wife was having a C-section and they let me into the delivery room and I almost passed out. But the anesthesiologist helped me focus, and I stayed and held my baby boy right after he was born.

Poor guy, I’m glad everyone’s alright. He’s lucky he didn’t hit his head when he fell. That’s what I always worry about…

I was 5 when my 3rd brother was born, I was there that day. I held him and my mom took a picture of me holding him. I always look at that picture fondly.😊❤

The nurse made me look away when they inserted the epidural and rightfully so, I was 15 hrs sleep deprived. I would have been in the bed next to her

lol. I was having a C-Section, and the next thing I know everyone is rushing to help my husband as he was nearing collapse. 😂 I like how calm the nurse is, too. I guess this happens a lot.
