Didn't the previous administration negotiate with the terrorists, excluding the Afghan government, to make the deal in Afghanistan and then leave this administration to do it? What could the current administration have done differently given the deal previously agreed upon?

Medically retired (female) US military veteran who USED to be a big Trump supporter but now lukewarm (if that) mainly due to some of his foreign policy issues. However, no way in HELL could I ever vote for Kamala to be "Commander in Chief" when we're STILL not protecting our OWN US borders but send BILLIONS to other countries to "protect" THEIRS.
