Missile Debris Lights Up Kyiv Sky As Russia Attacks Ukraine Capital

Debris rained from the Kyiv night sky as Russia launched air attacks on early August 30, killing at least two people in the Ukrainian capital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on the Telegram messaging app. Orange balls of fire dropped from the sky as targets destroyed by Ukrainian air defences fell on several buildings in Kyiv, exploding into large clouds of fire and smoke.
