HifiBerry Dac+ PRO Power MOD Part 2

preview_player
Показать описание
Tapping into the existing 5V to 3.3V regulator (ADP150) analog side, for use on the digital side, bypassing the pi 3.3V switching power.
Ultimately an additional regulator and power supply would be best, or a dedicated 3.3V ultra low noise power supply. However trying this first along the way to test the concept before buying additional parts.
Dac chip is a BurrBrown PCM5122

Hey Scott I have been following your work on the rpi for a while, great work. Can I bypass the pi 3.3v with the digi+ if I do not have the Dac+? Have you seen the new digi+ pro board they just released? It has the ability to add connections for both 5v and 3.3. Any chance I could hire you to do some modding for me?

Thanks for the Video.
There is also 3, 3V on P1. Is this uncritical? Or should P1 also be bend? (I dont know tha layout of the HiFi-Berry)
I also recognized a voltage of ~2, 5V at the Berry-Power-Pins whith only powering the Pi - is this correct?
