It's fast. The speedometer on the HUD updates faster than the original built-in one!

I really love this idea of making your own... however, for safety, it should really be focused at a distance of about 8-12 feet away so you don't have to refocus your eyes to see it. You can do that by using a curved lens or magnifier between the combiner (the lens) and the LEDs light path. Also. if you can do dual color... red at night and green during the day is perfect. (Red doesn't night blind you... green is very visible.)
