Phishing scam includes text messages posing as EDD and Bank of America

Scam text messages claiming to be from California's Employment Development Department and Bank of America. The phishing scammers are once again targeting unemployment benefits money, bank accounts and your personal information.

What a nightmare it was ! Never go there again it was stressful and many criminals stole from us

How about we stop trying to fix the system issue and start arresting or putting a bounty of 10k to these scammers and send them to jail for life

I got one saying my BofA card was charged in VA for $268 and to verify the transaction. I said yeah right. Then I immediately started searching Bank of America scams.

It said on the first page Bank of America RDD prepaid debit card

just received a text from that address, it said my edd card was used at mcdonalds and to click the link....did not....i have never collected unemployment ins benefits.

I think I just got one and it has normal font
