One time when I was little, I had casted out a lipless crankbait. And for some reason a giant water snake ate it. I reeled it in all the way till the bank, but me and my dad could not get that lure back. Since this crankbait was one of my dad’s favorite/most expensive lures. We had to get the lure somehow, and that somehow was by chopping the snakes head off with a shovel. Then we got the lure back.
