So unpopular opinion here but make no mistake I'm not defending doc, but I find it odd that nobody has popped up and said "hey he was talking to me!" When in almost every case the person involved has always poked their head up. And there have been all of 0 receipts. All we have is some random dude who said "I know what happened" and then never actually telling. All we have is the tweets from doc. Idk this whole thing has been off from the start. JD isn't wrong but I also feel like he's jumping on this so hard not because he's protecting anyone but because it's the cool thing to do at the moment.

I love how things can be twisted by popular content creators. I guess "kids" is synonymous with "17 year olds".
Even with the majority of details missing everyone is crucifying the man.
I wonder, JD, in the state where you were convicted... If you were 17 and dealing could you have likely been tried as an adult? Or is "kid" what it's always called when you're 17 and self aware with your conscious decisions?

He never admitted to inappropriately messaging a minor. What he said was that he was casually messaging a individual while playing games on twitch which began to become inappropriate. He said at that time of realizing is was inappropriate he cut the person off from communicating. Very distinct differences. People tend to literally twist words when there comprehensive skills are slim to none

Man, I've considered for years about starting a YouTube channel to get my music out there and show off my guitar skills. My style of music would really be catered to people who was born in the 80s and grew up listening to 90s metal and grunge. I can't even fathom being a grown ass man, and running a YouTube channel that is made to draw in kids. I don't even let my kids on YouTube, because of pieces of crap like that. If they wanna watch anything on YouTube, they have to use mine and my wife's account and watch it with us supervising. You just flat out can't take chances with kids on the Internet. I don't know why so many parents are so relaxed about their kids being online and letting them get exposed to all the predators that are out there. The Internet and social media was the perfect invention for predators to find ways to get access to kids without ever even leaving their homes

I don't see how it's wrong to dm kids if done professionally, being a positive model. He did admit he's made a mistake. No one is perfect.
