I turned 40 today. I meet with 2 financial advisors earlier this year who estimated my net worth between 1.6 and 1.8 mil. I live in the middle of nowhere, work a bluecolor job in a very poor state, have an associates degree from a votec school. Anyone can do what I did. Most of my net worth is my 401k. The next chunk is my paid off house. I haven't had debt in years and live well below my means. I dont lose sleep over the housing market or stock market swinging.

I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time . I was able to build a business from my returns

Yes. I would cash in 100% of my crypto to achieve my financial objectives. My original reason for investing was to become debt free by settling my mortgage. If that was an option I would take it now.

This fascination with generational wealth. I don't want my children and their children to have it too easy. They'll become influencers, I'd rather they became grafters, go getters themselves. I'm enjoying my money, they'll get a head start I didn't but the race is theirs to run.

I have been pondering this for weeks since xrp bull run. The realtiy is there will most likey be correction. As will the whole market. Watching your portfolio tank 75% is devistating. By plans is to sell at least half and put those profits into gold and silver which will likey continue to rise ans also hedge againt inflation. Then by back what I sold when the market tanks.

Option 2: NO! 51% capital gains tax where I live. Not gonna give away over half for whatever assets 😅

We have ZERO capital gains taxes in the USA for XRP, HBAR, Cardano, and other American cryptocurrency companies.

Just dont be a fool and take profits at $25 $50 $100 because when XRP is worth $30k-$50k you will be kicking yourself big time

I really do have a question. For someone with less than $5, 000 to invest, how would you recommend we enter the market? I am looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What’s your take on this approach?

I'm not cashing out crypto for a depreciating asset like a car! This makes no sense at all. A car is probably the worst thing you could buy! Except of course that cars are not liable for CGT.

Yes.. i plan to reach my goal, remove it all, pay the capital gain, place it in Fundsmith which pays an average of 15% a year. No hassle, no stress, but a great yearly return that will top up my pension nicely!! Happy days!😊
