To offer up our sufferings requires the strength of Faith to remain sufficiently balanced in order to recognize what is happening and have the strength of will to offer our suffering.

Many even devout Christians can become so overwhelmed by powerful emotions and internal storms that they don't have the strength to apprehend clearly what is transpiring and to offer up their suffering. In other words summer so depressed and frail that they don't have the strength.

Lord, have mercy on me for my lack of faith.
