Xiaomi Redmi G Pro 2024 gaming laptop was released in March this year based on Intel Core i9-14900HX and Nvidia RTX 4060 Laptop. Ma Zhiyu, Xiaomi 's product marketing director, announced today that while this configuration offers maximum performance, many fans would like a more affordable version. For them, a laptop based on Intel Core i7-14650HX with 16 cores and 24 threads is produced.

The laptop received 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and a PCIe 4.0 solid-state drive with a capacity of 1 TB. The model supports RAM expansion up to 96 GB, and SSD - up to 8 TB. The laptop is equipped with a 16-inch screen with a resolution of 2.5K with a variable refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 3 ms, which supports G-Sync technology, brightness of 500 nits, 10-bit color depth and provides coverage of 100% of the sR color space.

The laptop is equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 connector, three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, USB-A 2.0, MiniDP 1.4, HDMI 2.1, an RJ45 network port, a 3.5 mm audio jack and an SD card slot. Sales will begin on July 12 in China, with a price yet to be announced. The original model was called "the most powerful gaming laptop under $1,400."
