Hey guys!
Just dropping in a quick video to show everyone how I get Linus ready for the day. Also sharing the really simple fleece coverings that are literally just anti-pill fleece and lanyard hooks; it really doesn't get any easier and protects the wood from urine. I recommend using a sanding block to try to remove any urine damage to wooden shelves that have already been stained!
(The chins get to play while I clean up the cage, but they also get playtime in the evenings!)

Awww! Linus was so adorable in that one part where the camera legs was having Linus chase it! That was my favorite part! Now chinchillas are my most favorite animal on the planet! Keep up the amazing work! 👍

@4:45 THANK YOU! I've looked and looked for my chin's noise everywhere! I thought it sounded like grumbling/complaining, just by it's sound, but I wasn't sure. My chinchilla has made a total of three noises since I've had him. This one is the most used when he's irritated with me. Second in the list is his (I call them) his "nightmare noises." He only does this when he's sleeping 🤷🏼 and he often wakes himself up with them! And once, one time, he barked at my girl rats because they wanted to play, and he was NOT about it. He thought they wanted to hurt him, but they didn't. He's quiet that for the first 3 months he made NO noise and I thought he was broken. I still do not try to hold him. He lives in my entire room and chews everything to bits. Hops on my face at night, hops on the dog! My dogs LOVE him much it's hilarious. He's a spoiled spoiled chin.
