This project describes the working of Next Generation 911 Testbed (NG911 Testbed) at Illinois Institute of Technology’s Real-time Communications Lab at Mies Campus in Chicago. The goal of our project was to determine how the calls are routed in the Emergency Services IP Network (ESInet). In this project we explored how the location of the caller is determined, and how the call is placed to the appropriate Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). Lost Server is the database where all the location information is present. All the components of the physical and logical architecture are explained.

Presented by Illinois Institute of Technology students Ujjwala Vuyyala and Vipul Kumar Kothifoda.
