There are so many of these little meters nowadays which seem to specifically target the hobby market! They are pretty good in the main, for that specific buyer, at least the ones I’ve tried are. When I first used a meter, as an electrical fitter in the seventies, they were pretty much only a tradesman’s tool so tended to be mostly good, known and established makes like AVO, Fluke, Beckmanns etc! I think it’s great that they are now more affordable as long as you know what you’re doing with them!

Duracell batteries come with an onboard computer that knows exactly when you are most vulnerable, and at that point that computer tells those batteries to leak all over the insides of your new meter.

I remember buying my first digital meter in about 1983 Beckman Model 3020, I was so excited and kept it in a protective case only using it sparingly . If it had been auto ranging I think my head would have exploded . 💥

Not a bad little tester, more accurate than i expected.
I would not trust the crappy leads at 240v, not what i call safe.

Like the Kaiweets KM312B but has no diode or capacitance test like the Kaiweets does but that unit doesn't come with
a soft case. Both are nice, small multimeters and having a case to cover the screen if you throw it in your electronics
toolbox is a handy plus.

I recently purchased very similar pcwork pcw02b multimeter. Although not as accurate as fluke 83 in VAC, VDC and "horse shue" pcwork can measure capacity of onboard capacitors which is its greatest advantage as it helped me detect leaky capacitors on my stereo amplifier. Unfortunately fluke83 cannot measure 100s of uFs, so pcwork was well worth the money (I paid it approx.35 bucks new). Most certainly if a fella dont have ESR meter.

Nice unit. Good thing. If you said bad things about products, they'd stop sending them to you, probably.
