Best part of this clip is the light controller 😉

The Mk IV should have easily been able to take on the 63 but for driver error 🤔
Hopefully we'll get a redo with a more proficient pilot

for the record, the supra clearly fucked up his launch and first shift; his exhaust in first and second gear sounded nothing like it does in his 3rd gear, and I don't think anything short of a miata clears the starting lights that slowly.

The drivers of the Supra probably mixed up the gears; he started with 2 speeds and not 1

The guy in the supra needs to be replaced with a guy that can shift

this is why Automatic > manual and why the Supra lost to the automatic

In other videos, if you share the Supra, the Supra always overtakes its opponent, but in this video, the continuation of the race was not shown.

Ok little supra kid listen here. the victory of the Mercedes E63 over the 800 bhp Toyota Supra is a tale of precision engineering, meticulous design, and undeniable prowess. Let's delve into the statistics that shed light on why the C63 emerged triumphant in this clash of titans.

The heart of the Mercedes C63 is its handcrafted AMG V8 engine, a marvel of German engineering. With a horsepower output that is nothing short of impressive, the C63 strikes a balance between raw power and refined performance. Clocking in with around 503 horsepower, this V8 powerplant provides the C63 with the kind of muscle needed to command attention on the road.

On the other side of the spectrum, the Toyota Supra, boasting a formidable 800 bhp, is a powerhouse in its own right. The Supra's engine, a product of meticulous tuning and precision engineering, propels it into the realm of high-performance sports cars. The battle between these two automotive giants promises a spectacle, fueled by the rivalry between German luxury and Japanese performance.

In the realm of drag racing, where the confrontation took place, acceleration is the key metric. The Mercedes C63, thanks to its well-tuned launch control system, showcases an impressive 0-60 mph time of around 3.8 seconds. This rapid acceleration is a testament to the synergy between the engine's power and the car's ability to efficiently transfer that power to the road.

In contrast, the Toyota Supra, despite its massive horsepower advantage, encounters challenges in translating that power into quick acceleration off the line. With a reported 0-60 mph time hovering around the 3.9 to 4.1 seconds range, the Supra struggles to match the C63's swift launch capabilities. This disparity becomes a defining factor in the outcome of their drag race encounter.

Digging deeper into the technical aspects, the C63's transmission system plays a crucial role in its drag racing prowess. The AMG Speedshift MCT transmission delivers lightning-quick gear changes, ensuring that the engine's power is seamlessly transferred to the wheels. This efficiency in power delivery contributes significantly to the C63's success in drag races.

Conversely, the Supra's transmission, though capable, faces challenges in achieving the same level of rapid shifts. The intricate dance between horsepower and transmission efficiency becomes a delicate balancing act, and the Supra's struggle to match the C63 in this regard becomes apparent in the acceleration statistics.

Weight distribution is another factor that tilts the scales in the favor of the Mercedes C63. With careful engineering and a focus on lightweight components, the C63 achieves a favorable power-to-weight ratio. This ratio is crucial in drag racing, where every pound can impact acceleration. The Supra, despite its powerful engine, contends with a slightly less advantageous power-to-weight ratio.

Now, as the dust settles on the drag strip, a phenomenon emerges within the Supra enthusiast community – the "Supra kids." These fans, often ardent supporters of the Toyota Supra, find themselves grappling with the undeniable statistics that point to the C63's victory. Their denial of this loss is rooted in a blend of brand loyalty, emotional attachment, and a longing to uphold the Supra's reputation as an automotive icon.

Supra kids, known for their fervent devotion to the Supra brand, often form a close-knit community. To them, the Supra represents more than just a car; it embodies a legacy of Japanese sports car heritage. Acknowledging a defeat, especially against a rival like the Mercedes C63, challenges the very core of their automotive identity.

Brand loyalty is a powerful force, and Supra kids might find it difficult to accept that a rival from another manufacturer could outperform their beloved Supra. The emotional investment in the Supra's legacy, especially considering its iconic status in the automotive world, can lead to a form of cognitive dissonance when faced with empirical evidence of a loss.

Moreover, the Supra community has historically been passionate about the model's resurgence. The anticipation and hype surrounding the latest iterations of the Supra have built an almost mythic expectation. Accepting a defeat contradicts the narrative of an invincible Supra, and Supra kids may resist acknowledging the C63's victory to preserve the aura surrounding their chosen automotive emblem.

In conclusion, the triumph of the Mercedes C63 over the 800 bhp Toyota Supra in a drag race is a tale told by the numbers – a symphony of horsepower, acceleration times, and power-to-weight ratios. While statistics may paint a clear picture, the emotional ties and brand loyalty within the Supra enthusiast community, particularly the fervent Supra kids, create a narrative of denial. This clash between empirical evidence and emotional allegiance underscores the complex and fascinating world of automotive enthusiasts and their unwavering dedication to the cars they hold dear.

Looks like yall dont knoe really abt cars i have c43 and before that i had a g37 my g37 on stock ran 13flat and yall think the supra that is 900hp lost just like that and he went full throttle and plus didn't shift correctly and ran 13.41 lol 🤣🤣 he didn't push the car fully

He was in gear the whole time, he definitely wasn't trying to intentionally not shift correctly, he just won't trying or he wasn't trying to spin tires on 1st gear, if he had stalled out it would had took him way longer to get to the line. He didn't stall, his car was on, it just wasn't a race lol..
