In this video, I am going to show you how to win a stripe chargeback.

A chargeback is a process in which a customer disputes a charge on their credit card. The bank will then investigate the dispute and either cancel the charge or reverse it.

A chargeback is bad for your business because it can lead to a negative balance in your account. This will lead to a high risk of being shut down by the card company.

The most common reasons for a chargeback are:
- The customer never received their order
- The customer received an order that was significantly different from what they ordered
- The customer did not authorize the purchase

Whether you are selling a physical product on Shopify, digital product on JVZoo, or providing a service, I am going to show you my secret formula on winning any type of chargeback or dispute.

It makes absolutely no difference. I had all the proof in the world which I submitted and the bank still took my money, the scammer kept my item and the card processor charged me fees. It’s appalling and theft. There should be a massive massive scandal about it like there was about ppi insurance. Lawyers would be sitting on a goldmine with the injustice of all this.

Would it be a good idea to ask customers to make an initial payment of, let's say, $1 and then proceed with a separate payment of $499 for a total of $500, in order to minimize the chargeback ratio?

Do you offer a service to win disputes. We have submitted a handful of services with chargeback with VERY compelling documentation and STILL lost the dispute. We had signed agreements, receipts, customer confirmation, login details, ID verification and video/camera logs. Its very disappointing. :(

Better get a merchant account from an acquirer bank and processor directly, I know a processor that has excellent customer service that will walk you through the chargeback dispute process.

Satish, have you heard of Stripe cancelling a vendor account because they don’t support “marketing agency” business type? If so, what is the best way to change our designation business type in Stripe to avoid any confusion/issues with accounts being shut down? Thank you!
