Artificial intelligence and creative destruction

AI is coming. According to IESE’s professor of economics Javier Díaz-Giménez, “It’s not a matter of ‘if’, but ‘when’”. As machines become more and more intelligent, humans will be liberated from repetitive jobs and that implies that company structures are bound to change: more machines, less workers and different managers. Indeed, traditional managers that control static teams of people will progressively be replaced by teams created and disbanded for every project.
